What this protocol does
This protocol automates 96-well magnetic-bead RNA extraction on the Undergrad: lysis, binding, the magnetic wash series, and elution into a clean plate. It removes the most error-prone, repetitive part of any RNA workflow — the bead washes — while vision verification confirms magnet engagement and supernatant removal at each step.
Who it's for
Any lab extracting RNA at regular volume for qPCR, sequencing, or expression work that wants consistent yields without the hands-on tedium of manual bead handling.
From intent to atomic steps
Layer 1 · Intent — plain languageDescribe the automated rna extraction (96-well) the way you would brief a labmate — no scripting, no deck programming.

1Lyse & add beads~5 min
Add lysis/binding buffer and magnetic beads to the sample plate and mix thoroughly.
◉Vision: Vision confirms tip pickup and full-plate dispense.
2Bind~5 min
Incubate to bind nucleic acids to the magnetic beads.
3Wash~10 min
Engage the magnet and run the wash series, verifying clearance between each wash.
◉Vision: Vision verifies magnet engagement and supernatant removal.
4Elute~5 min
Elute purified RNA into a clean plate, ready for downstream qPCR or library prep.
