Instruments
- Undergrad with the Accuris AutoMATE 96 for liquid handling
- Plate reader: BMG CLARIOstar (or compatible absorbance reader)
- Integrated cameras enabled for vision verification (default)
Labware
- 96-well high-binding ELISA plate
- Reagent reservoirs (one per reagent)
- 200 µL filter tips
- Wash-buffer trough and waste container
Reagents
- Coating (capture) antibody in coating buffer
- Blocking buffer
- Samples and standards
- Detection antibody (enzyme-conjugated)
- Substrate (e.g. TMB) and stop solution
- Wash buffer (PBST)
Deck layout
Place the plate in the primary nest, reagent reservoirs across the reservoir bank in the order they're used (coating → blocking → sample → detection → substrate → stop), the tip rack within reach, and the wash trough adjacent to the waste position. The Undergrad confirms each item's position by vision before the run begins, so exact placement is forgiving — but keep reagents in the labelled order for the cleanest run.
